Choices NZ is a subsidiary of IHC focused on providing a range of specialist advisory services and hands-on coaching to people with disabilities or other health needs.
Our Life Coaches and Facilitators are experienced and qualified, and our specialist clinical staff provide expert advice – evaluating and supporting staff to deliver comprehensive and carefully-designed services. We provide a range of services including employment, transition from education, learning new things and becoming an active part of your local community.
Choices NZ is currently based in Gisborne, New Plymouth, Whanganui, Manawatu, Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch, Dunedin and Invercargill.

As a Life Coach with Choices NZ, you’ll work one-on-one with people who have disabilities, supporting them to live meaningful, independent, and connected lives. You’ll accompany individuals in their communities, help them explore new opportunities, and design personalised programs and workshops that encourage learning and personal growth.
In this role, you’ll work alongside people with disabilities or long-term health needs as they prepare for and transition into employment or life beyond school. You’ll provide personalised, one-on-one support to help individuals identify their goals, build confidence, and navigate the steps toward meaningful work or further opportunities.
A key part of your role will be building and maintaining strong, positive relationships – not only with the people you support, but also with employers, schools, community groups, and other social and disability services – to create pathways for success and inclusion.
