The Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) is a temporary work visa issued by Immigration New Zealand (INZ) that allows a migrant to live and work in New Zealand for a specific employer who is accredited under the scheme.
While IDEA Services is an Accredited Employer, we currently have very limited availability to provide Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) support.
To be eligible for consideration, you must first ensure you meet the current Immigration New Zealand (INZ) requirements, which can be found on the New Zealand Immigration website. Please check your eligibility before applying.
Our minimum qualification requirement for AEWV support is a Level 4 Health and Wellbeing Certificate (or equivalent).
Additionally, we are only considering applications from candidates who are already based in New Zealand.
We understand that location constraints can be challenging. If you plan to relocate and establish residence in New Zealand, you are welcome to reapply once you are in the country.
IDEA Services’ ability to accept AEWV applicants depends on the current workforce needs within each geographic location. In most areas, we are unable to progress AEWV applications due to sufficient applications from New Zealand citizens and residents, who we are obligated to prioritise under Immigration NZ requirements.
Please note:
Below is a general roadmap of what a standard AEWV recruitment process looks like:

Check requirements and submit application

Recruitment screening to check requirements are met

Provide qualification evidence to recruitment for review

Qualifications assessed & pay rate level confirmed

Interview with panel and pre-employment checks

AEWV Letter of Offer (no start date)

IHC issues immigration token

Submit visa application using immigration token

Send Work Visa AEWV to IHC recruiter

Formal Letter of Offer (with start date) issued to formalise employment
We understand that navigating New Zealand’s immigration process can be complex, and we hope this information helps guide your next steps.
